For more than 14 years, the Department of Gastrointestinal Surgery at Saint Pierre University Hospital has offered a series of continuing education classes focused on laparoscopic surgery and related topics to surgeons, nurses and other medical professionals from around the world.

 


The European School of Laparoscopic Surgery is one of the oldest and best established in Europe. Our staff works together with the top experts in the field to teach the latest techniques in laparoscopic surgery. Over 5,000 surgeons have completed our courses to date

The school is the only one in Europe to be endorsed by both the U.S.-based Society of American Gastro-Intestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES) and the European Association for Endoscopic Surgery (EAES). The classes take place in Brussels, but are also transmitted via satellite uplink to medical institutions and universities around the globe.
