The intravenous (IV) drip is removed 24 hours after the operation. You may be offered pain relievers if you need them and as per doctor’s orders. On the morning following the procedure, you will be encouraged to get out of bed and walk around, but mostly this will be a day of rest, coupled with observation by the CDS medical
